We should never underestimate the power of praise. It’s one of the most powerful spiritual weapons we have!
Psalm 9:1-3 says,
I will praise thee, O Lord, with my whole heart; I will shew forth all thy marvellous works. I will be glad and rejoice in thee: I will sing praise to thy name, O thou most High. When mine enemies are turned back, they shall fall and perish at thy presence.
Praise is more than singing a beautiful song to The Lord. It releases the very presence of God Himself! And when God comes on the scene, sickness, disease and depression has to flee. Praise actually BINDS the enemy and the avenger (Psalm 8:2). Even physical weariness has to flee in the presence of joy-filled praise. So, the next time the enemy tries to drain you of your health, prosperity and victory that belongs to you, lift up your hands in praise God with your whole heart. Joyfully yours, Lisa Gordon
