Good morning dear ones!
Isaiah 55:8-9 says,
- “For My thoughts are not your thoughts,
- Nor are your ways My ways,” says the Lord
- “For as the heavens are higher than the earth,
- So are My ways higher than your ways,
- And My thoughts than your thoughts.
See, if you THINK like the world THINKS, you’ll eventually ACT like the world ACTS! If your THOUGHTS are unrestrained, your actions will be, too.
You may ask, “So, Lisa, how do I THINK like God THINKS?” By bringing your THOUGHTS into obedience to the Scripture.
As a matter of fact, 2 Corinthians 10:5 says,
- “Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ…”
I encourage you to find out what God has to say in His Word, and do that! When your mind becomes saturated with the Word of God, you’ll become strong to stand against every thought that doesn’t line up with His will (His Word).
And remember, His Words are SPIRIT and LIFE (John 6:63).
Restrain your THOUGHT life and you’ll begin to walk in the life of God.
