Good morning, victorious ones!
“Who me?”  Yes, YOU!  You are God’s champion, the apple of His eye ~ He has you engraved on the palms of His hands (Isaiah 49:16).
I wanted to take a moment and share a powerful scripture with you: it’s from Ephesians 5:4
  • “[Let there be] no coarse, stupid or flippant talk; these things are out of place; you should rather be thanking God.” (New English Bible).

When I read that, I realized I needed to replace the words I was used to saying with words of thanksgiving!  After all, I couldn’t speak  negative words and thank God at the same time.

I immediately decided to put this to practice in my life.  So, instead of reacting harshly to what somebody said to me, I realized the Word said this type of behavior was out of place, so I’d stop and THANK GOD INSTEAD.
You can change the habit of speaking harshly to people by stopping and thanking God.  Once you remind yourself how good God is, angry words will slip away unspoken.
So, instead of using your tongue to tear people down, train it to lift up praises and thanksgiving to God instead.
Then we can do what Romans 12:18 says and that is,
  • “If it’s possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone.”
Blessings,
