Good morning diligent ones!
2 Peter 1:10 says,
- 10 Wherefore the rather, brethren, give DILIGENCE to make your calling and election sure: for if ye do these things, ye shall never fall…
Did you read that? You shall never fall!
That’s a startling statement, isn’t it?
The Word of God is telling us that we can live without being tripped up. How? By DILIGENCE!
I want to encourage you about the importance of DILIGENCE.
If we want to stand strong on the Word of God, it’s not enough to just pick up our Bibles on Sunday mornings, yet most believers try to get by on that.
Being DILIGENT is a daily thing.
Our enemy is out there 24 hours a day, divising ways to make us fall, but Jesus is on the throne 24 hours a day giving us power to resist him. Our part is to exercise our faith all the time!
In the days ahead, the only way to get mountain moving faith is by giving ourselves to the Word of God more DILIGENTLY than ever before.
So, give DILIGENCE to make your calling and election sure and no matter how slippery the situation gets, you won’t fall!
