Hello family of God!
John 5:19-20, NIV says,
- 19 Jesus gave them this answer: ‘Very truly I tell you, the Son can do nothing by himself; he can do only what he sees his Father doing, because whatever the Father does the Son also does. 20 For the Father loves the Son and shows him all he does. Yes, and he will show him even greater works than these, so that you will be amazed.
As Christians, we need to be actual followes of Jesus, and that is going to look very different from the world’s way of doing things.
Jesus was radical and that’s how we’re to be too!
In the same way that Jesus could do nothing apart from the Father, neither can we. If we are trying to do things in our own strength, we’ll become tired, stressed out and have no peace.
Let’s get a “divine download” from heaven and only do what we see the Father doing and only say what we hear Him saying!
Jesus said in Matthew 11:28-30,
- 28 Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. 29 Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. 30 For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.”
If you are weary and heavy laden, do come to Jesus and take HIS yoke upon you. It is easy and light!
