Good morning transformed ones!

When you received Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, your spirit was immediately born again.  Your mind, will, emotions, and body have to be renewed by the Word of God.  Romans 12:2 (NKJV) says,

  • And do not be conformed to this world, but BE TRANSFORMED by the renewing of your mind.

BEING TRANSFORMED takes time and effort, but it’s all worth it in the end.  You can’t put a price on having the peace that passes all understanding or the wisdom to know what to do, when to do it, and how to do it in order to prosper and succeed.

BEING TRANSFORMED comes from the Greek word, “Metamorphosis”, which means being changed into something new.  2 Corinthians 5:17 declares that,

  • Anyone who belongs to Christ has become a new person.  The old life is gone; a new life has begun!

What would a person pay to start their lives all over again?  To have all their sins forgiven and all their past failures gone?  This is what it means in the above Scripture.  The moment you’re born again, your life is brand new.  You have a fresh start.  In your life as a believer, this is how it is every day.  1 John 1:9 says,

  • If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

His Word actually declares that He removes our sins from us as far as the east is from the west (Psalm 103:12).

When you humble yourself to God’s teaching and direction, and keep yourself pure, the Scripture declares in 2 Timothy 2:21 (NLT),

  • …You will be a special utensil for honorable use.  Your life will be clean, and you will be ready for the Master to use you for every good work.

I exhort you to let Jesus be your teacher.  He wants to teach you in a way that embodies humility and gentleness.  If you will listen and obey, you will find rest.  Jesus declares in Matthew 11:28-30,

  • Come to Me, all you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest.  Take My rock upon you.  Let Me teach you, because I am humble and gentle at heart, and you will find rest for your souls.  For My yoke is easy to bear, and the burden I give you is light.

Jesus humbled Himself to the Father and so we should humble ourselves to Him.  In Matthew 26:39 we read,

  • O My Father, if it is possible, let this cup pass from Me; nevertheless, not as I will, but as You will.

I encourage you to put your eyes on the Word of God, so that you become knowledgeable of the things you need to do (see Proverbs 4:20-24).

The Lord Jesus wants you to live free in the truth of God (John 8:32).
