Good morning, blessed ones!

THE BLESSING OF GOD is released through words!  When God blessed mankind, He spoke words over them.  So, likewise, we must SPEAK THE BLESSING OF GOD over ourselves and our children.

Ephesians 1:3 (GW) says,

  • Praise the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ!  Through Christ, God has blessed us with every spiritual blessing that heaven has to offer.

THE BLESSING OF GOD cannot be released without words being spoken.  In Genesis 1:22, we see that when God blessed mankind, He spoke words.  It says,

  • And God blessed them, saying, “Be fruitful and multiply…”

To BLESS means to speak well of; to curse is to speak negatively of something or someone.  When Jesus cursed the fig tree in Mark 11:12-14, 20, it caused a physical reaction.

In Genesis 12:1-3, we can see that THE BLESSING OF GOD is an empowerment to produce peace in every area of your life.  It says,

  • Now the Lord had said to Abram:  “Get out of your country, from your family and from your father’s  house, to a land that I will show you.  I will make you a great nation; I will bless you and make your name great; and you shall be a blessing.  I will bless those who bless you, and I will curse him who curses you; and in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed.”

Remember that we are the seed of Abraham, according to the Galatians 3:29 (NIV).  It says,

  • If you belong to Christ, then you are Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise.

I exhort you to go before God every day and thank Him that you are BLESSED according to Ephesians 1:3.  I always ask God to enlarge my territories and expand my borders.  I ask Him to give me the nations!  Come boldly before the throne of grace with God’s Word on your lips.  Pronounce His BLESSINGS upon your family, your church, and your life.  Declare what Psalm 103:1-5 says every morning:

  • Bless the Lord, O my soul; and all that is within me, bless His holy Name!  Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all His benefits:  Who forgives all your iniquities, Who heals all your diseases, Who redeems your life from destruction, Who crowns you with lovingkindness and tender mercies, Who satisfies your mouth with good things, so that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s.

Put this in the first person and pronounce THIS BLESSING OF GOD over yourself!  The only thing that’s stopping you from receiving more from God is a limited mindset.  That’s why it’s so important as a born-again believer to renew your mind to the Word of God!  Think like He thinks.  You have the mind of Christ.
