Good morning family!

Every believer wants to know what God’s will is for their life.  Knowing God’s will for your life is essential to achieving your maximum potential. There are certain aspects that apply to everyone, like making Jesus the Lord of their life, receiving the baptism in the Holy Spirit, and walking in their covenant rights as a believer.  But you also have a specific course to follow.  He uses your gifts, talents, and desires as a way to direct you to your divine destiny.  Ephesians 5:15-17 says,

  • See then that you walk circumspectly, not as fools but as wise, redeeming the time because the days are evil.  Therefore do not be unwise, but understand what the will of the Lord is.

Reading God’s Word on a daily basis will enable you to discover God’s will for your life.  Once you align your thoughts and desires with the Word, your path will be illuminated.  Getting into the perfect will of God will not only protect you from hurt, harm, and danger, but it will also guarantee you favor and good success.

Many times people have a good idea about what they want to do with their lives, but it may not be God’s perfect plan.  I exhort you to seek Him through prayer and adequate time in His Word so that you can receive the wisdom you need to go forward.

I want to give you some questions that may help you discover God’s will or your life:

1. What is your deepest desire?

2. What stirs your passion?

3. What naturally flows out of you?

4. Where do you get real results?

5. What is the witness of the Holy Spirit in your spirit?

6. What do mature Christians see in you?

7. What ministry do you feel the strength of God about pursuing?

8. What thoughts, visions, or dreams are impossible to put out in your mind?

9. What goal or ambition can you dedicate yourself to 100 percent of the time for the rest of your life?

10. What do people volunteer to help you accomplish?

I hope this helps.  I am paying for you today.  Expect to be directed by the Lord as you pursue Him for His perfect will for your life.

Seeking God,

Lisa Gordon
