Good morning covenant partners!

God wants us to be mindful of the COVENANT He made with Abraham. Often, when many of us think of a COVENANT, we think of an old custom from Biblical times that does not apply to us today.  However, the Abrahamic COVENANT is just as relevant today as it was in Abraham’s day.  The Bible says that when we were strangers to the COVENANT, we were without hope and without God in this world (see Ephesians 2:12).  It is imperative that we know and understand the Abrahamic COVENANT because, as born-again Christians, it gives us purpose.

In Galatians 3:28, we read that as born-again believers, we are one in Christ.  It says,

  • For as many of you as were baptized into Christ have put on Christ.  There is neither Jew nor Greek; there is neither male nor female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus.

Because of Jesus, we are all Abraham’s seed and heirs according to the promise. This is what Galatians 3:29 says!

When we became a born-again believer, we entered into a NEW COVENANT WITH GOD.  God operates according to the COVENANTS of promise found in His written Word.  See, some Christians are not aware of their COVENANTS of promise because they do not know what the Word says.  Many Christians are destroyed because of their lack of knowledge.  This is what Hosea 4:6 says.

Also, Jesus tells us in Mark 7:13 that some people make the Word of God of no effect through their tradition.

Let us be aware that we do not consider our circumstances more than we do the Word. We must be fully persuaded that God is able to do what He has promised (see Romans 4:21).

Ask yourself this question, “What is in my life that prevents me from being fully persuaded?”

Family, God is ALL we will ever need to overcome any trial, circumstance, or tribulation in life.  Genesis 15:1 says that God is our exceedingly great reward!

Psalm 89:34 says this of God’s COVENANT,

  • My COVENANT I will not break, nor alter the Word that has gone out of My lips.

Family, according to Psalm 138:2, God has magnified His Word above all His Name. And Psalm 119:89 says,

  • Forever, O Lord, Your Word is settled in heaven.

He is the Lord ~ He changes not (see Malachi 3:6).  The Scripture declares in Hebrews 13:8,

  • Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today and forever.

I exhort you to find out about YOUR COVENANT WITH GOD by reading, studying, and meditating upon God’s promises found in His unchangeable Word.  His will is unalterable (read Hebrews 6:13-20).

Walking in MY COVENANT WITH GOD,
