Merry Christmas family!

I want to encourage you because even though Christmas is only one day of the year, you can live in CHRISTMAS ALL YEAR!

I love walking in the joy of the Lord. JOY is a fruit of our recreated human spirit. It is a spiritual force that keeps you constant and stable in the midst of this life – during the up’s and down’s, the attacks of the enemy, and the wonderful times.

In Isaiah 49:16 God says,

• See, I have inscribed you on the palms of My hands…

Nothing that we go through is a surprise to the LORD.  2 Corinthians 10:13 says,

• No temptation has overtaken you that is not common to man. God is faithful and He will not let you be tempted beyond your ability, but with the temptation He will also provide the way of escape that you may be able to bear it.

You might as well come back to a place of peace, let go of the anxiety, the frustration, and the distress and choose instead to believe God.  The Scripture declares in James 4:8,

• Come near to God and He will come near to you.

Plus, remember that 2 Timothy 1:7 says,

• God did not give us a spirit of fear (timidity, cowardice, craven and cringing and fawning fear), but [He has given us a spirit] of power and of love and of a calm and well-balanced mind and discipline and self-control.

If you have your health, your children, or whatever you have, start out your day off in faith. Also, I exhort you to focus on how you can be a blessing to other people.

EVERY DAY CAN BE CHRISTMAS by giving people a complement, giving them a ride, calling them on the phone and letting them know that you are praying for them, holding open a door for them, and the list goes on and on.

Randy and I and our family wish you a most blessed and MERRY CHRISTMAS!

Experiencing the joy of Christmas throughout the year,
