Greetings family of God!

How many of my readers believe that GOD IS IN CONTROL? Well, if you do, you’ve got about 90% of the church in agreement with you, but let us see what the Word of God has to say about this!

Genesis 1:26-27 says,

• 26 Then God said, “Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; LET THEM (MAN) HAVE DOMINION over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.” 27 So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them.

So, to recap, LET MAN HAVE DOMINION over ALL THE EARTH.

Now, let us turn to Psalm 8:4-6 (Amp),

• 4 What is man that You are mindful of him, and the son of man that You care for him?

• 5 Yet You have made him but a little lower than God (Elohim) and You have crowned him with glory and honor.

• 6 You made him to have DOMINION over the works of Your hands; You have put ALL things under his (man’s) feet…

I want to you understand who you are today. You came from God ~ you are a “chip off the old block.” God made you a little lower than Himself (not the angels). Isaiah 51:1 (NLT) says,

• 51 “Listen to me, all who hope for deliverance— all who seek the Lord! Consider the rock from which you were cut, the quarry from which you were mined.

So, let me ask you again, now that you have read the above information. Who has dominion and authority? The correct answer would be, “man”!

In Genesis 2:19-20, let us look at “WHO” God gave dominion and authority to:

• 19 Out of the ground the Lord God formed every beast of the field and every bird of the air, and brought them to Adam to see what he would call them. And whatever Adam called each living creature, that was its name. 20 So Adam gave names to all cattle, to the birds of the air, and to every beast of the field.

Adam has dominion and authority! God gave it to him.

The definition of dominion is: The power of governing and controlling. Mankind has been given the dominion and authority.

Today, people, even ministers are declaring that God is running everything on this earth! Well, if He is, He has got things in a mess ~ people are starving, children are dying, woman are suffering, there are wars, etc. If God has everything under control, do you mean He is running all of the wars and the terriorists, etc.?

God is NOT ruling on this earth! He WILL, one day, because the government will be upon His shoulders, but RIGHT NOW, His will is not being carried out except in the lives of those who are submitted to Him and give Him the opportunity to show Himself strong.

If we are not releasing certain things to be done through prayer, they are not going to happen.

Family, some of the stuff thats going on in the earth IS our fault, sorry to say. We are God’s reflection on this earth. We have got to open our mouths and pray that God’s will be done!

In summary, the dominion starts in heaven with God, then God puts His dominion into the hands of man, but then in Isaiah 14:12-14, we see that satan is hungry to be like God. So, he gets Adam to legally turn over his authority to him in Genesis 3:1-11. God asks Adam, “WHO HAVE YOU BEEN TALKING TO?” “Who is framing your way of thinking?” “Who have you been hanging around?”

Adam committed a treacherous act ~ he had taken the dominion and the authority and crowned the enemy of heaven! When that took place, EVERYTHING was infected! Dominion and authority was given to the enemy.

It went from God to man to satan.

The Scripture declares in 2 Corinthians 4:4 that,

• Satan is the god of this world…

BUT, in Genesis 3:15, God initiates a plan to give man back the authority. God found a man, Abraham, that He could cut a covenant with (see Genesis 15:8,12,17-18).

Then, in Genesis 22:1-14, Abraham is tested by God to sacrifice his son, knowing that God would provide ~ either raising his son from the dead or providing another sacrifice.

In Luke 1, we see Mary. The angel said to her in verse 30,

• “Be not afraid, Mary, for you have found favor with God.”

In verses 31-35, Mary conceived when the Holy Spirit overshadowed her and Jesus was born, Emmanuel, God with us ~ ALL MAN, ALL GOD! What a plan!

Now, Jesus is born as a man, into this earth and has the LEGAL RIGHT to take back His authority and give it BACK to His children.

So, now YOU are commissioned by the Lord Jesus Christ to do the SAME works He did ~ heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse the lepers and cast out demons.

Use your dominion and authority, in Jesus Name!
