Merry Christmas!
Christmas is my favorite time of the year. The air seems to be charged with JOY! When God gave us His Son JESUS, He gave He gave us the GREATEST GIFT OF ALL TIME!
JESUS is Wonderful – He is our counsellor, the Mighty God, The Everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace. Without His counsel, there would not be everlasting wisdom. Without recognizing Him as The Mighty God and The Everlasting Father, we will not be able to understand that JESUS is God and The Father of the new creation. Without JESUS, we cannot have real Peace.
Because of JESUS, GOD’S GREATEST GIFT, we now have access to God’s throne. We can come to Him any time of the day or night. He is always there for us to help us, to encourage us, and to love us with an everlasting love. As a matter of fact, as a believer in JESUS, every day is Christmas for me! When I think The Lord JESUS did for us, I cannot help but praise Him all day, every day! That is why Randy and I have given our lives to serve Him. We want every person on earth to have the opportunity to receive JESUS, GOD’S GREATEST GIFT!
I want to tell them how JESUS has changed my life, filled me with inexpressible joy, and has given me hope and strength to overcome every trial that comes my way. I want to show them how to use THE WORD OF GOD to create a life filled to the full, until it overflows.
There is no news equal to the Good News of Christmas! Because JESUS came, we can have new life; old things have passed away. It is like being given a new start in life. Because JESUS has conquered death, hell, and the grave, we have the right to walk in His victory. No weapon formed against you will prosper and you can have an abundant life in every way – spiritually, physically, financially, and in every other way.
What a blessing it is to be saved! Randy said it this way, “I was saved, I am being saved, I will be saved.” This is an eternal day by day salvation in every way. This word salvation does not only mean we are going to heaven – it means right here on earth, we are saved, healed, delivered, preserved, protected, made whole, kept safe and sound.
Praise God that salvation belongs to the whole world. John 3:16 says,
• God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.
We all have the priviledge and opportunity to share JESUS every day of our lives. What an honor!
Because of what JESUS has done, you can start using His Word and living this life better than you ever thought possible.
I love what Paul says in Galatians 2:20,
• I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now life in the flesh, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me.
Because of our new life in JESUS, it is no longer us who lives, which will take a lot of pressure off of us. We have been crucified with JESUS. Now, we live by faith in the Son of God. We look to Him for everything and not to our own limited-selves.
Remember, it is only JESUS Who can change lives. Only JESUS can heal people from incurable diseases. Let us dedicate our lives to Him this Christmas season in a brand new way. He is waiting for you!
