Hi family!

I want to share with you an amazing Scripture from 2 Peter 1:1.  It says,

  • This letter is from Simon Peter, a slave and apostle of Jesus Christ.  I am writing to you who share THE SAME PRECIOUS FAITH we have.  This faith was given to you because of the justice and fairness of Jesus Christ, our God and Savior.

“THE SAME PRECIOUS FAITH”
means that God, Who is from everlasting to everlasting, has always had people that He could trust, illuminate, and enlarge until there was nothing within them that would hinder the power of God.

This “SAME PRECIOUS FAITH” is the gift that God is willing to impart to all of us.  He wants us to have this SAME PRECIOUS FAITH so that we can subdue kingdoms, work righteousness, obtain promises, be made strong out of weakness, and become valiant in battle according to Hebrews 11:33-34.  Under all circumstances, we will be able to triumph.

2 Corinthians 2:14 says,

  • Now thanks be unto God, Who always causes us to triumph in Christ…

Because our help comes from God alone, we are always strong and never weak.  Paul said in 2 Corinthians 12:10,

  • So for the sake of Christ, I am well pleased and take pleasure in infirmities, insults, hardships, persecutions, perplexities and distresses; for when I am weak [in human strength], then am I [truly] strong (able, powerful in divine strength).

When we are full of faith, we will always have a good report (Philippians 4:8).  We have to make the decision though to have a good report.  Isaiah 53:1 says,

  • Who has believed our report?

We will always have a choice in life to either believe God’s Word or some other report.  Let us decide today to have THE SAME PRECIOUS FAITH as our brothers and sisters in the Bible!  Then, we will always be in a place of victory.

The Scripture tells us in Hebrews 12:2 that we are to,

  • Look to Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith.

This “SAME PRECIOUS FATH” is for all of us.  Ephesians 3:18 says that we may,

  • Be able to comprehend with all the saints…

What does this SAME PRECIOUS FAITH mean to you this morning?  This SAME PRECIOUS FAITH is given to us through the Word of God.  Faith inGod and power with God comes to us through the knowledge of the Word of God.

In 2 Peter 3:18, we are exhorted to,

  • Grow in the grace and the knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ…

It is so wonderful that THIS SAME PPRECIOUS FAITH is what overcomes the world! (1 John 5:4).  But how do we overcome the world?  By believing in Him!  If you believe in Him, you are purified.  You are strengthened because He is strong.  You are made whole because He is whole.  Faith is the living principle of the Word of God.

Family, God’s Word never changes.  The Scripture declares in Hebrews 13:8 that  Jesus is the same yesterday, today, and forever.  His righteousness is from everlasting to everlasting.

In order to have our prayers answered, we must have this SAME PRECIOUS FAITH.  1 John 5:14-15 says,

  • Now this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us.  And if we know that He hears us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we have asked of Him.

My precious brothers and sisters, we must go into the presence of God and get from Him the answer to our prayers.

In Mark 11:24 Jesus says,

  • What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.

In the 23rd verse, we see mountains removed, and all the difficulties cleared away.  When?  When we believe in our heart and refuse to doubt.

This SAME PRECIOUS FAITH places our feet on the Rock and brings us to an unlimited place in our faith.  This SAME PRECIOUS FAITH makes you dare to do anything with and for God.

The Word of God will change us until we become the epistles of God.  It will transform our mind, change our character, and take us from faith to faith and from glory to glory.

Be encouraged today because God has remarkable things for every one of us!  The great plan of God for your life according to Psalm 103:5 and Isaiah 58:11 is to satisfy you with good things and then give you a vision of something even higher.

Let us decide to dedicate ourselves afresh to God this new year!   With every new revelation comes a new dedication.  Let us seek Him today.

Walking in this SAME PRECIOUS FAITH,
