Hi! I wanted to touch on the subject of our immortality for a moment.

Death isn’t a particularly popular topic, even among believers. A lot of us are downright scared of it! Even though we talk about having eternal life, when the devil tries to threaten our earthly existence with sickness or disease, we panic! Why is this?

It’s because we don’t have a revelation of God’s perspective on death. If we did, when the murderer tries to push our panic buttons, we would simply reply, “I’ve done all the dying I’m ever gonna do!”

According to John 8:51, the Word of God says that as a born-again believer, you are never going to see death. Jesus was your substitute. He suffered death so you wouldn’t have to!

When Jesus was raised from the dead, Hebrews 2:14-15 says, “He destroyed him that HAD the power of death,that is, the devil; and delivered them, who, through fear of death, were all their lifetime subject to bondage.”

If you’ve made Jesus Christ The Lord of your life, the only death you’ll ever experience is behind you now! You became a new creation in Christ (2 Corinthians 5:17), are immortal, and absolutely incapable of death!

When your work is finished on this earth, all you’ll do is shed this earthly tent and relocate to a far more glorious place!
