Good morning dear one!

Let’s take a look at Philippians 3:13-14:

  • “Brethren, I do not count myself to have apprehended; but one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead, 14 I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.”
We all know what it is to suffer from spiritual aches and pains, bumps and bruises, but do we know what to do about them?
These wounds don’t just magically disappear with a little extra sleep or an extra helping of dessert.
Unlike physical bruises, which tend to heal in a few days, the healing of a bruised and beaten spirit doesn’t come that easily.  Sometimes, the passing of time makes things worse because instead of putting the painful failures behind us, we often dwell on them until those failures become more real than the promises of God!
Good News!  There is a way out ~ All you have to do is get your eyes off the past and onto the future.  Purposely meditate on the promises of God about your future instead of the mistakes of the past and you’ll become the overcomer God’s made you to be!
Blessings,
