Hello powerful one!
Psalm 112 is an amazing Psalm. For the sake of time, we’ll just look at verses 1 and 8 (although I encourage you to read and meditate on the whole Psalm):
PRAISE THE LORD!
- 1 Blessed is the man who fears the Lord, who delights greatly in His commandments.
- 8 His heart is ESTABLISHED; he will not be afraid…
I looked up the word, “ESTABLISH” in the Strongs Concordance and here are a few definitions:
To rise, to arise, to stand, to rise up, to stand up, to become powerful, to be confirmed, to endure, to be fixed, to be proven, to be fulfilled, to persist, to be set, to ratify, to erect, to carry out, to make binding.
This is WHO YOU ARE when verse 1 is fulfilled in your life: Fear the Lord and delight greatly in His commandments!
Challenges may come your way, but you’re not worried about it ~ you know it can’t touch you because Isaiah 54:17 says,
- “No weapon formed against you can prosper…”
Verse 14 says,
“In righteousness you shall be ESTABLISHED; You shall be far from even the thought of oppression or destruction, for you shall not fear, and from terror, for it shall not come near you.”
Take God’s perspective today and see yourself the way He sees you: YOU ARE ESTABLISHED! Praise the Lord!
Love and blessings to you today,
Lisa Gordon
