Hello Excellent One!
Isaiah 55:7 says,
Let the wicked FORSAKE his way, and the unrighteous man his THOUGHTS; Let him return to the Lord, and He will have mercy on him…
When we’re going through difficulties in life, we tend to think about them from morning to night, instead of FORSAKING OUR THOUGHTS and thinking about what the Scriptures promise.
In Matthew 6:25, Jesus said,
- “…Take NO THOUGHT FOR YOUR LIFE.”
That’s why we’re told in Isaiah 55 to FORSAKE OUR THOUGHTS and TAKE GOD’S THOUGHTS.
As a matter of fact, 2 Corinthians 10:5 tells us to cast down the THOUGHTS that try to exalt themselves against the knowledge of God and bring them into captivity to the obedience of Christ.
So, if you want deliverance from your problems today, don’t allow them to dominate your thought life.
Here’s a few ideas to help you:
First, remind yourself that you have the Holy Spirit to strengthen you!
Second, get around people who are full of faith and can feed the Word into your life. Make yourself listen to them instead of rehearsing your problems over and over again.
And third, don’t forget to praise God ~ Praise binds the enemy and the avenger!
Remember, your problems aren’t the biggest thing in your life ~ Jesus is!
He adores you and so do I.
Your thought forsaking sister,
