Good morning lovely one!

Proverbs 15:15 (Amp) says these amazing words,

  • All the days of the desponding and afflicted are made evil [by anxious thoughts and forebodings], but he who has a glad or HAPPY HEART has a continual feast [regardless of circumstances]

Wow, family!  Did you hear that?  Do you see how important it is that we obey Jesus words from Luke 12:29 (Amp),

  • do not seek…nor be of an anxious (troubled) mind [unsettled, excited, worried, and in suspense]…

Now, let’s look at the 2nd half of Proverbs 15:15,

  • …but he who has a glad heart has a continual feast [regardless of circumstances].

Wow, he who has A HAPPY HEART has a continual feastREGARDLESS OF CIRCUMSTANCES!

I’m reminded of Psalm 23:5 (NLT) where David says,

  • You prepare a feast for me in the presence of my enemies.

Did you know that a merry or a happy heart is like medicine to our bodies? (Proverbs 17:22).  One translation says, “A joyful mind makes our age flourish.”  What better medicine can you find with no bad side effects?   God’s Word will bring health to our bodies and nourishment to our bones.   (Proverbs 3:8).

You may be asking, “Ok, so how do I get this ‘glad or happy heart’?

Psalm 119:1-3 (GNT) tells us how:

  • Happy are those whose lives are faultless, who live according to the law or the Word of the Lord.
  • Happy are those who follow his commands, who obey Him with all their heart .  They never do wrong; they walk in the Lord’s ways.

This is how our hearts become truly ‘HAPPY’ and we live like they’re having a continual feast!

This is God’s will for your life.  Jesus came to give us life more abundantly, which means in the literal greek, a violently excessive life. (See John 10:10).

Blessings to you, my happy-hearted readers,

Lisa Gordon
