Hello precious one!

Galatians 6:9-10 (LEV) says:

  • Let us not be exhausted and wearied in doing good, SOWING TO THE SPIRIT.  For when the harvest season has come, we shall reap, as long as we don’t become weary and stop SOWING TO THE SPIRIT.  Consequently then, as we have the occasion, let us do good to all (sowing to the Spirit), especially to the family members of faith.

Paul is teaching us in this chapter the difference between sowing to the Spirit and sowing to the flesh.  He tells us in verse 8 that if we sow to the flesh, we will reap corruption, but if we sow to the Spirit, we will reap life (Zoe) that never ends.

We are commanded in Romans 13:14 to put on the Lord Jesus Christ and make no provision for the flesh, to fulfill its lusts.  The Scripture also teaches us in Galatians 5:16 to walk in the Spirit and you will not fulfill the lust of the flesh.

So, we’re not to be deceived.  Whatever we sow, we will reap  ~ either destruction or life.

Let’s obey the instructions given in Deuteronomy 30:19,

  • 19 “Today I have given you the choice between life and death, between blessings and curses. Now I call on heaven and earth to witness the choice you make. Oh, that you would choose life, so that you and your descendants might live!

Choose life; SOW TO THE SPIRIT, and really live!

Love to you today,
