BE STRONG AND COURAGEOUS
Hello Victorious One!
Joshua 1:9 tells us this:
- “This is my command—BE STRONG AND COURAGEOUS! Do not be afraid or discouraged. For the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.”
Where does courage come from? Well according to Joshua 1:9, courage comes from trusting that The Lord is with you wherever you go. Courage comes from having faith in God’s Word and in His promises.
Now that we’ve established where courage comes from, where do you think discouragement comes from? It comes from just the opposite of trusting God ~ it comes from unbelief and fear.
As God’s children, we must shake off discouragement and rise up with courage! Instead of looking at our own inabilities and failures, we must look to God. It’s imperative that we rise up with courage in the Name of Jesus, and in the power of the Holy Spirit, establish the kingdom of heaven on the earth.
Once you begin to realize who you are (I did a teaching on this – it’s on our website), you’ll rise up with courage, be strong and do exploits (Daniel 11:32).
This isn’t a suggestion; it’s a command, but you can do it! God promises that you can through Christ!
