Good morning, family of God!

We are exhorted by Paul in Philippians 4:2 to:

• BE OF THE SAME MIND in the Lord.  

What does it mean to be of the same mind?  

It means that we all think like God thinks; that we all have the same attitude and disposition that Christ Jesus had in our relationships with one another.

It’s imperative that we resemble the Lord Jesus Christ in our lives.  This means being unselfish and humble.  We should love what He loves and hate what He hates!  Our thoughts, desires and motives should be those of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Let’s strive to imitate Him, to reproduce His image on the outside, but more importantly, on the inside.  

In order for the Body of Christ to dwell together in unity (see Psalm 133), we must have the same brotherly love and the same heart of our Lord Jesus.

1 Corinthians 1:10 (ESV) says,

• I appeal to you, brothers, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that all of you agree, and that there be no divisions among you, but that you be united in the same mind and the same judgment.

And finally, Colossians 3:14 says,

• …above all these, put on love, which binds everything together in perfect harmony.

Let’s aim for restoration, comfort and agreement toward one another, and live in peace with our brothers and sisters in Christ.  

Let’s live in harmony with each other by not being haughty, but associating with the lowly and never being wise in our own eyes.
