Greetings, family!

Matthew 5:8 (LEV) says,

• Happy are the clean ones (PURE) IN HEART, for they will see God.

I love the word, “PURE“.  Isn’t PURITY beautiful?  Like a PURE crystal stream of cool water!  Like a PURE, white diamond!  It has no defects in it.

1 Timothy 5:22 says, 

• Keep yourself PURE…

You may say, “I want to Lisa, but how do I do this in the midst of this sinful world?  

Psalm 119:9 (NIV) answers this question for us.  It says,

• His can a young person stay on the path of PURITY?  By living according to YOUR WORD.

Don’t feel you have to try in your own strength to live a PURE life.  Just keep pouring the clean water into the murky water and eventually, it will all be clean.

Ephesians 5:26 says,

• …We are cleansed with the washing of water BY THE WORD.

Romans 12:2 further helps us.  It says,

• Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but LET GOD TRANSFORM YOU INTO A NEW PERSON by changing the way you think.

See, Jesus is like a blazing fire and like a strong soap (Malachi 3:2).

1 John 3:2-3 (NLT) says,

• Dear friends, we are already God’s children, but he has not yet shown us what we will be like when Christ appears. But we do know that we will be like him, for we will see him as he really is. And all who have this eager expectation will keep themselves PURE, just as he is PURE.

Wow, JUST AS HE IS PURE.  I want that and I know you do too!

I pray this every day and I would like to pray it over you as well.  It’s from Psalm 51:10 and Psalm 139:23-24

• Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me.  
• Search me, O God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts.  Point out anything in me that offends you, and lead me along the path of everlasting life.
