Hello dear ones!

SPEAKING THE WORD OF GOD is something God instructs us to do.

Joshua 1:8 says,

  • This book of the law (the Word) shall not depart from your mouth…

When I became a born-again Christian at the age of 17, my whole life changed ~ the grass looked greener, the sky looked bluer.  I felt like a brand new person!

Shortly after I received Jesus Christ into my heart as my personal Lord and Savior, I was baptized in the Holy Spirit and spoke with other tongues.  I began praying “in the Spirit” in my new heavenly language for hours and hours every day (see Jude 1:20)

Then, I heard a message about FAITH IN THE WORD OF GOD and felt born-again, AGAIN!  I knew what he was saying was full of the life and full of the Holy Spirit, so I began attending a church that preached this uncompromised WORD OF GOD.

We were taught about the importance of the Word of God; taking what God said, literally, and believing and doing what He tells us to do.  (I had not heard a teaching like this before.)

I began to meditate on the Word of God every day, speak it out of my mouth, and believe it in my heart!  I received what I was asking for, by faith, in Jesus’ Name.

I began to listen to testimonies of physical healing and learned about our authority in Christ Jesus.  I put in to practice what I was learning from my teachers and when I noticed a little red growth on my neck, I cursed it, in Jesus Name, believing that Jesus already bore it, and within 3 days, the thing fell off my neck! I was so excited, I couldn’t wait to pray for more people.

So, I began to see my my change completely ~ my old desires for the things of this world faded (within a few weeks) and my heart ONLY desired to be with God and to minister to the world around me.

I brought people to the Lord everywhere I went; got them baptized in the Holy Spirit, and prayed for the healing of their bodies.

I saw healing miracles occur in people’s bodies as I began to pray, and spent even more time in God’s Word ~ listening to good teachers who taught me about the integrity of God’s Word, night and day, until I finally enrolled in Bible College.

After graduation, my heart was all the more determined to live for God ~ I wanted to continue to find out what His Word said and then do it!

I had a lot of “dying” to do, which wasn’t very comfortable, but my life was being transformed from the inside out.

If I saw it in the Word, I believed it ~ no if’s, and’s, or but’s.

I began to renew my mind to the Word of God and His Truth began to set me free.

Now, 37 years later, I’m still meditating on God’s Word day and night, speaking it out of my mouth (no matter what things look like or how I feel) and after having done this, I stand still and see the salvation of my God!

We are in a covenant with God, family, which means God has His part and we have ours.  Our part is to:

  1. Meditate on God’s Word
  2. Speak it out of our mouths
  3. Believe His Word
  4. Stand on His promises
  5. Walk in the love of God (faith works by love)

God’s part is to:

  • Watch over His Word (coming out of your mouth) to perform it ~ Jeremiah 1:12)

“Father, bless my readers today.  Reveal Yourself to them through Your Word and prayer.  Show them how to walk in Your ways and how to “CHOOSE LIFE” by choosing Your Word over the world’s ways.  We love you, Father, In Jesus Name, Amen.”
