Good morning blessed ones!
Do you know that it is God’s will for you to be healed? If you don’t know that emphatically, you will be double-minded about your healing. Settle that fact in your mind and spirit right now!
In James 1:6-8, we are warned about being double-minded:
- But let him ask in faith, with NO DOUBTING, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea driven and tossed by the wind. For let not that man suppose that he will receive anything from the Lord: he is a double-minded man, unstable in all his ways.
We must become so single-minded that it is God’s will for us to be well that there is no question, doubt, wonderment or staggering.
In Romans 4:20-21, Abraham was “fully persuaded” that what God said, He would do:
- But he did not doubt or waver in unbelief concerning the promise of God, but he grew strong and empowered by faith, giving glory to God, being fully convinced, satisfied, and assured that God was able and mighty to keep His word and to do what He had promised.
Different versions say, “Fully convinced”, “Sure”, “Absolutely confident”.
It is so important that we know God’s will. We must eliminate the uncertainty concerning God’s will for us to be healed. We must no longer use the faith-destroying phrase, “if it by thy will” where healing is concerned. Faith for healing begins where the will of God is known.
JESUS is God’s will on Earth. He said in John 6:38,
- For I came down from heaven, not to do Mine own will, but the will of Him that sent Me.”
Matthew 9:35 says,
- And Jesus went about all the cities and villages, teaching in their synogugues, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing EVERY sickness and EVERY disease among the people.
People might say, “Yes, I know that God CAN heal, but WILL He? In Matthew 8:1-3, we read:
- When He had come down from the mountain, great multitudes followed Him. And behold, a leper came and worshiped Him, saying, “Lord, if You are willing, You can make me clean.” Then Jesus put out His hand and touched him, saying, “I am willing; be cleansed.” Immediately his leprosy was cleansed.
When Jesus said, “I will”, it was not passive. “I will” revealed His character and His nature. It is as if Jesus were saying, “Healing is Who I am.”
What I want you to understand is that Jesus’ Word IS His will. This is what the centurion understood in Matthew 8:5-13. His Word would do whatever He would do. This is believing.
Let’s take a look at some “I will” Scriptures:
- Exodus 15:26 says, “I WILL not put the diseases on you – for I am the Lord Who heals you.
- Exodus 23:25 says, “I WILL take sickness away from the midst of thee.
- Exodus 23:26 says, “I WILL fulfill the number of your days…”
- Psalm 91:14-16 says, “I WILL deliver you…”
I exhort you to let God’s will be done in your body as it is in heaven.
I love you,
Lisa Gordon
