Good morning family!  How are you?

Have you ever really thought about WHO YOU ARE IN CHRIST JESUS?

2 Corinthians 5:17 says that you have become A NEW CREATION (a new species of being that didn’t exist before), IN CHRIST!  Old things have passed away and all things have become new.

Now, IN CHRIST JESUS, you have been forgiven, set free, made whole, are seated in heavenly places, and have been made the righteousness of God!

Ephesians 2:11-13 says,

  • “Therefore remember, that…at that time you were without Christ…having no hope, and without God in the world: But now IN CHRIST JESUS, you who once were far off have been brought near by the blood of Christ.”

If you want that revelation to explode on the inside of you, I encourage you to search out the Scriptures that refer to being IN CHRIST. Look for the phrases, “In Him, in Whom, with Him and through Him.”

Then, highlight them and meditate on them until they get down into your spirit man.  They will give you some powerful ammunition against the attacks of the enemy.

This way, you’ll be prepared next time the thief comes at you with doubt, fear and condemnation.

See, most people know who they are in the natural realm, in the sense that they know who their parents are, where they grew up, etc., however, they don’t know WHO THEY ARE IN CHRIST!

So many people in the body of  Christ have a hard time identifying with God, but He made us in His image, and He wants us to identify with Him.  If we do not know our God-given identities, we will not know how to operate within His kingdom.

Because our identity is so valuable, satan constantly attacks it.  He did this with the only two people who received their DNA directly from God – Adam and Jesus.  However, Jesus knew who He was; therefore, He didn’t feel He had to prove anything.  Jesus always used this phrase when dealing with His enemy, “IT IS WRITTEN…”.  After Jesus overcame every situation satan threw against Him in the wilderness, Matthew 4:11 says, “Then the devil left Him, and behold, angels came and ministered to Him.”

When we constantly look into the mirror of the Word, we will always know who we are!  The Word will tell us exactly who we are, what we look like from God’s perspective, and how we are to act as sons and daughters of God.  It will also reveal to us any areas of our lives that may not line up with God’s Word.

We must identify with the identity GOD has given us, not people or circumstances.

When we do this, we will always come out victorious, knowing WHO WE ARE IN HIM!

Blessings to you today,
