Good morning faith-filled one!

FAITH IS A REALITY!  Ephesians 2:8 says that FAITH is a gift from God.   It’s through FAITH that the Holy Spirit brings life into our hearts.  This is the plan of God for us ~ it’s our inheritance.

The Lord wants to reveal you today that you are so much greater than you have any conception of.  We became partakers of His divine nature the moment we believed.

According to Hebrews 11:3 and John 1:1-3, nothing was made without the Word of God.  1 Peter 1:23 tells us that we have been born again, not of corruptible seed, but incorruptible, through the Word of God which lives and abides forever.

Always measure yourself according to the Word of God.  Don’t be afraid, because He wants to make you strong and powerful, resting on His Almighty authority.

Whatever you want to happen in your life must first be born in your heart.  Proverbs 23:7 says,

  • As a man thinks in his heart, so is he.

Let’s renew our minds according to the Word of God and beware what we are thinking about.  We cannot allow ourselves the luxury of allowing ungodly thoughts to infiltrate our minds.

See, God’s will doesn’t happen without our cooperation.  FAITH is what saves us, but true FAITH has to be acted on in order to be alive.  Heart-belief is demonstrated through our actions.

James 2:14-18 (MSG) says,

  • Dear friends, do you think you’ll get anywhere in this if you learn all the right words but never do anything?  Does merely talking about faith indicate that a person really has it?  For instance, you come upon an old friend dressed in rags and half-starved and say, “Good morning, friend! Be clothed in Christ!  Be filled with the Holy Spirit!” and walk off without providing so much as a coat or a cup of soup—where does that get you?  Isn’t it obvious that God-talk without God-acts is outrageous nonsense?  I can already hear one of you agreeing by saying, “Sounds good.  You take care of the faith department, I’ll handle the works department.”  Not so fast.  You can no more show me your works apart from your faith than I can show you my faith apart from my works.  Faith and works, works and faith, fit together hand in glove.

Saving FAITH is not just acknowledging facts.  If there’s no corresponding action, it’s not biblical FAITH.  When it moves from our heads to our hearts, it’s real FAITH ~ IT BECOMES A REALITY.

Walking in the faith of God,

Lisa Gordon
