Good morning salt of the earth!

God has never failed anyone relying upon His Word.  I exhort you today to rest unconditionally upon the Word of God.  Human reasoning may try to refute the validity of God’s Word, but rest upon what the Word says.  The Word of God will take away all your weariness. If you’ll put your whole trust in the living Word of God, the Scripture declares in Psalm 125:1 that,

  • Those who trust in the LORD are like Mount Zion, which cannot be shaken but endures forever.

God’s plan for us is tremendous.  We are only weak and helpless when we forget God’s Word.

In Matthew 16:13-17, Jesus came into the region of Caesarea Philippi and asked His disciples, “Who do men say that I, the Son of Man, am?”  They said, “Some say John the Baptist, some Elijah, and others Jeremiah or one of the prophets.  But he said to them, “But who do you say that I am?”  In verse 16, Simon Peter answers him and says,

  • “You are the Chirst, the Son of the living God.”

Then Jesus perceiving in a moment that revelation had come from heaven said in verse 17,

  • Blessed are you, Simon BarJonah, for flesh and blood has not revealed this to you, but My Father Who is in heaven.

God’s great plan is that His children should be SALT FOR A DISEASED WORLD.  The Scripture declares in Matthew 5:13-14

  • You are the SALT OF THE EARTH…You are the light of the world.

We’re to be sons and daughters with power and our foundation is built solely upon the faith of the Son of God.  Paul declares in Galatians 2:20,

  • I have been crucified with Chirst; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, Who loved me and gave Himself for me.

Let’s not just “add” Jesus to our lives ~ let’s die to ourselves and live by faith in Him.  Jesus said that upon this Rock, Who is Jesus, He will build His church and the gates of hell won’t prevail against it.

God is visiting the earth with His glory.  Isaiah prophesied in Isaiah 60:1-3,

  • Arise, shine; for your light has come!  And the glory of the Lord is raised upon you.  For behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and deep darkness the people; but the Lord will arise over you and His glory will be seen upon you.  The Gentiles shall come to your light, and  kings to the brightness of your rising.

God is coming to revive, to heal, and to deliver men and woman from the power of the enemy.  He is our ransom.  He comes to save the oppressed so that men’s eyes, ears, and heart will be able to see, hear, and feel His beauty.

I always declare Psalm 90:17.  It says,

  • Let the beauty of the Lord our God be upon us…

Remember this:  The Scripture declares in 1 John 4:17,

  • As He is, so are we in this world.

God has saved, chosen and equipped us so that those who are bound may go free.  God’s plan of ministry is this,

  • Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father.

No devil or evil power should be able to remain where we are, but keep this in mind:  Satan has tremendous power in the world and people suffer as they never would if they only knew the truth of the Word of God.  That’s why the Scripture declares in Romans 10:14-15,

  • How then shall they call on Him in Whom they have not believed?  And how shall they believe in Him of Whom they have not heard?  And how shall they hear without a preacher?  And how shall they preach unless they are sent?  As it is written:  “How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the gospel of peach, who bring glad tiding of good things!”

This is a big responsibility, but God left us His Word, His Holy Spirit, and His power to accomplish this.  Let’s follow in our Lord’s footsteps and be moved with compassion upon the lost and suffering.

God is our foundation and the Word of God is our standing.  We’re here to do the works of Jesus and bring glory to the Father.  Believe what the Word says and act upon it today!  The world’s waiting for you.

Living to glorify Him,
