Good morning blesses ones!
I want to encourage you today to BE SINGLE-MINDED on the Word. This is how we can remove the limits and enlarge our capacity for faith to receive from God. Romans 10:17 says,
- So then faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of God.
I believe that most believers have a much greater capacity for faith than they’re aware of ~ it’s remained untouched, underutilized, and underdeveloped. The way you can enlarge your faith capacity is to immerse yourself in the Word of God. Proverbs 4:20-23 says,
- My son, attend to My Words; incline your ear to My sayings. Let them not depart from your eyes; keep them in the midst of your heart. For they are life to those who find them and health to all their flesh.
As you meditate on God’s Word, you will begin to enlarge your capacity to receive all that you’re believing God for.
Romans 12:1-3 teaches us that in order for the Word to produce results in our lives, we must give our attention by spending time studying it and meditating on it. If we want 10 percent results, meditate on the word 10 percent. It we want 100 percent results, meditate on the Word 100 percent.
The Word of God will change your thinking so that you can begin to think like God thinks. Isaiah 55:8-9 says,
- My thoughts are nothing like your thoughts,” says the Lord. “And My ways are far beyond anything you could imagine. For just as the heavens are higher than the earth, so my ways are higher than your ways and my thoughts higher than your thoughts.
When we renew our minds to the Word of God instead of the world’s ways, we will begin to have God’s perspective on things, which is always full of wisdom. Proverbs 2:6 says,
- For the Lord gives wisdom; from His moth come knowledge and understanding.
James tells us that if we lack wisdom, ask God for it and He will give it to you liberally and without reproach (see James 1:5). He goes on to tell us in verses 6 and 7 to ask in faith with no doubting, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea driven and tossed by the wind. Let not that man (the double-minded man) suppose that he will receive anything from the Lord.
I exhort you to BE SINGLE-MINDED on the Word of God and to come into agreement with Him because He says in Amos 3:3,
- How can two walk together unless they be agreed?
When we stay SINGLE-MINDED, we will increase our capacity to receive from the Lord.
Staying single-minded on the Word,
