Good morning dear ones!
When we allow the Holy Spirit to have free reign in our lives, we will experience His REFRESHING. God doesn’t want us to miss out on any of His blessings. In order for us to be ready to experience His continuous TIMES OF REFRESHING, we must live in constant anticipation and expectation of good things to happen.
Family, GOD is the only One Who can REFRESH us forever! When we need to be rested and REFRESHED, we must change our ways. We need to turn and face God, and allow Him to shower down blessings on us. Acts 3:19-21 says,
- Now it’s time to change your ways! Turn to face God so he can wipe away your sins, pour out showers of blessing to REFRESH you, and send you the Messiah He prepared for you, namely, Jesus. For the time being, He must remain out of sight in heaven until everything is restored to order again just the way God, through the preaching of his holy prophets of old, said it would be.
In the book of Acts, the rushing, mighty wind was the manifestation of the Holy Spirit, Who came to REFRESH and renew His people. The kind of REFRESHING allows us to enter into God’s rest. Jeremiah 31:25 declares,
- I will REFRESH the weary and satisfy the faint.
God should be all we want in heaven and on earth. Psalm 73:25-28 tells us that those who are in His presence will be REFRESHED. It says,
- “You’re all I want in heaven! You’re all I want on earth!…God is rock-firm and faithful… I’m in the very presence of God—oh, how REFRESHING it is! I’ve made Lord God my home. God, I’m telling the world what You do!”
I exhort you to make God the center of your life. He is well able to do what He says. We must believe this wholeheartedly if we are to see the manifestations of His presence. We must also be willing to take action and release our authority so that He can work through us to reach others. We have a freewill choice, and much of the responsibility is on us.
It’s only when we believe and obey the Lord that He will REFRESH and provide rest for us! Proverbs 25:13 says,
- A faithful messenger is like a cool drink of water at harvest time, and is REFRESHING to the life of his masters.
In the Old Testament, God spoke to His people, in another tongue, telling them that this is the rest for the weary and the REFRESHMENT they need, but they would not listen (see Isaiah 28:11-12). This referred to the Sabbath day, but now, Jesus is our Sabbath. He REFRESHES us and gives us the rest we need.
Being REFRESHED in God’s presence,
