Good morning dearly beloved!
We are in the midst of one of one of the busiest times in history, and as believers, we must immerse ourselves in the Word of God.
There are so many influences in the world that compete for our attention, so it’s imperative that we meditate on what God says to us and about us from His Word.
We do not know exactly what lies ahead, but depositing the Word in our hearts and in our lives will prepare us for the future.
Because time is short, it’s vital for the church to be in the right place in order to set an example, speak life, and be a blessing to others (see Ephesians 5:27). In these last days, our willingness to humble ourselves will allow God to position us in just the right place at just the right time.
Know this family: God has preordained this time for us to know Him. Paul tells us in Philippians 3:8, 14
- Yes, everything else is worthless when compared with the infinite value of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord. For His sake I have discarded everything else, counting it all as garbage, so that I could gain Christ…I press on to reach the end of the race and receive the heavenly prize for which God, through Christ Jesus, is calling us…
Each of us have the opportunity in our lives to be right where God wants us to be. These opportunities are divine encounters, a point where we are in the right place at the right time.
Psalm 37:23 (AMP) says,
- The steps of a good person are directed, established, and ordered by God, Who involves Himself with every step.
As God’s children who trust Him, we are good people. When He directs our steps, He delights in the way we go.
Ecclesiastes 3:1-8 tells us that there is a season for everything, and a time for every purpose under heaven.
A designated moment has been set aside for everything. When God created the earth, there was a time for each stage of creation, and a specific order to follow. Man did not appear until the appointed time.
As for us, we are appointed to be here to accomplish what God wants done. Our season is right now.
We must humble ourselves under God’s hand so that He can exalt us in due time. We are to demote or lower ourselves in our own estimation according to 1 Peter 5:6, AMP.
We do this by thinking in terms of God’s perspective, and setting aside our own opinion.
Humbling ourselves is the key to God showing us favor in our lives.
According to Esther 4:14, we have come into God’s kingdom for such a time as this!
Not only had there been an appointed time for us to be born , there was an appointed time for Jesus to walk the earth. Galatians 4:4 says,
- But when the fullness of the time had come, God sent forth His Son…
We can also see that there was an appointed time for the Spirit to arrive. In Luke 24:49 we read,
- And now I will send the Holy Spirit, just as my Father promised. But stay here in the city until the Holy Spirit comes and fills you with power from heaven.
Because we are in the place God has appointed us to be, we can be filled with hope and expectation.
I want to remind you that our God is rich in mercy, and He loves us with a great, wonderful, intense love. He made us alive through fellowship with Jesus. We are God’s own handiwork according to Ephesians 2:4-10, AMP.
This intense love deliberately pursues us. God wants us to be happy and live the good life, according to John 10:10, AMP. It says,
- I came that they may have and enjoy life, and have it in abundance (to the full, till it overflows).
Be blessed today and know you’re in the right place at the right time!
All my love,
