Good morning glorious one!
It’s so important that we establish A LIFESTYLE OF PRAISE. The devil wants us to focus on our problems ~ however, when we give God PRAISE, we defeat the enemy’s tactics and win the spiritual battle within our minds. There’s always something we can find to worry about, but there’s always something we can thank God for! Whatever we think about the most determines the direction of our lives. We can either PRAISE God or complain and murmur. Which direction will you choose?
I want to give you three benefits of PRAISE:
- PRAISE builds your faith.
- PRAISE defeats the devil.
- PRAISE ministers to God.
When we PRAISE and worship God, we shift our thinking to His promises, and away from our problems. Proverbs 23:7 declares,
- As a man thinks in his heart, so is he.
Our thoughts determine the course of our lives. Our lives will go in the direction of whatever we think about the most. See, the devil attacks the mind, but PRAISE stops him in his tracks. Psalm 8:2 (NIV) says,
- Through the PRAISE of children and infants you have established a stronghold against your enemies, to silence the foe and the avenger.
See our PRAISE binds the enemy and the avenger. So, when we’re going through trials, it’s imperative that we PRAISE God more than ever. OUR LIFESTYLE OF PRAISE and thanksgiving increases our faith (see Colossians 2:6-7 and Psalm 34:1).
The amount of time we spend PRAISING God demonstrates where we are in our relationship with Him. As Christians, our PRAISE should be the driving force of our lives. OUR LIFESTYLE OF PRAISE should set us apart from everyone else.
PRAISE will change our circumstances and restore whatever we have lost. We should be so filled with PRAISE that it spills over into the lives of others, causing them to PRAISE God with us!
The enemy wants our PRAISE ~ in other words, he wants us to focus on negative things, which is why he’s always attacking our minds with negative thoughts. We are constantly fighting a spiritual battle within our minds. Meditation of God’s promises, through PRAISE, gives us the victory.
I want to remind you that there’s always something to PRAISE God for. We must guard ourselves against murmuring and complaining. Murmuring and complaining will cause a person to focus on the negative things in life. This is why maintaining an attitude of PRAISE is so vital to living a victorious Christian life.
PRAISING GOD today,
