Good morning beloved!
We are all familiar with Matthew, chapter 5, which we know at “The Beatitudes.” A lot of people believe that these blessings aren’t for now ~ they are millennial blessings, but I beg to differ. I believe that the Lord Jesus is showing us that these are PRESENT DAY BLESSINGS that we can enjoy here and now!
Family, God has so much in store for us! We have only touched the fringe of the things God is going to do! As we allow the truth of the Word of God to dawn on our spirits, we will press on for the mark ahead and enter more fully into all that God says.
Recently, it seems like every time I open the Bible, I get a new revelation from God’s Word. It’s like He shines a light on it and my eyes are opened further.
When God gives us revelation of Matthew 5:3 ~ “Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven”, it begins to dawn on us that God has come with one purpose – to bring heaven’s best to earth and that with Jesus, He will freely give us all things to enjoy (Romans 8:32).
In verse 4 of Matthew 5, we read,
- “Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted.”
There is mourning in the Spirit. God will bring you to a place where things must be changed, and there is a mourning, an unutterable groaning, until God comes and changes you. But at the end, real faith always rejoices. The Scripture declares in Psalm 30:5,
- Weeping may last through the night, but joy comes in the morning.
Verse 5 says,
- “Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth.”
Oh, brothers and sisters, God can transform you and put a meekness in you that didn’t exist before.
Then, in verse 6 we read,
- “Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled.”
Notice, it says, “They shall be filled.” If you ever see the word, “shall” in the Bible, take it for yourself! If you meet the conditions, God will always fulfill His Word to you.
God is making people hungry and thirsty after Him in these last days. Are you hungry? If you are, God promises that you will be filled.
Walking in His present day blessings,
