Good morning faith-filled ones!
It’s always such a joy to exhort you in the things of God, especially because you have come into “like precious faith” to believe that God is Almighty.
Let’s pray for a moment: “Father, give us patience to take in this Word. It is such a glorious Word, and we know You want us to fully comprehend and grasp the fullness of it. Open up our eyes to see and our ears to hear what you are saying to us this morning, in Jesus’ Name, Amen.”
Family, everything depends upon our believing God. We cannot rest upon our feelings. We actually cannot do anything apart from a living faith in Him. All things are possible to us in God, because God is an omnipotent God for impossible situations. God is not ordinary ~ He’s extraordinary. He’s immeasurable and abounding in everything.
FAITH IS OUR GREATEST INHERITANCE! If you look at the 11th Chapter of Hebrews, there are things in this chapter that will bring a revelation of what God has for the man or woman who believes.
Because there’s not room in this daily word of encouragement to quote the whole chapter of Hebrews chapter 11, I would like you to focus your attention on the word, “BY FAITH…“, so we can see the faith of the patriarchs and people overcoming impossible situations BY FAITH.
Faith is the very nature of God. Our faith is in the Word of God. Hebrews 11:1 from the Amplified Bible says,
- Now faith is the assurance (the confirmation, the title deed) of the things [we] hope for, being the proof of things [we] do not see and the conviction of their reality [faith perceiving as real fact what is not revealed to the senses].
Our faith is in the Word of God. It’s the inward flow of divine favor, which moves in every fiber of our being until our whole nature is so quickened that we live by faith, we move by faith, and we are going to be caught up in the glory by faith because faith is the victory. It changes us from strength to strength and from glory to glory, until we get to the place where we walk with God, and God thinks and speaks through us by the power of the Holy Spirit. It’s glorious!
Jesus is the author of our faith and Hebrews 11:6 tells us that God is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him. He will make us so different. He will change us. I love that!
Faith is always triumphant. It’s not a place of poverty, but of wealth; not of sickness, but of health. Men and women of faith always have a good report!
Faith never feels and faith never looks. Faith is an act. Everyone of us has more faith than we are using. So, if by faith, we are willing to venture out into the impossible, God will always do exceedingly, abundantly above and beyond all we can dare ask or think!
Walking by faith and not by sight,
