Good morning faith-filled ones!

When life throws us challenges that requires a FAITH RESPONSE, there are many ways we can choose to respond.  If we want a positive outcome, what we do in the middle of that challenge is so important.  HOW WE RESPOND determines what happens next, and a FAITH RESPONSE will always release supernatural manifestation.  We can base our response on what Jesus has already made available to us.  He has provided everything we will ever need to life a godly life.  If we do that, then our faith takes what grace has already made available.

We can see examples in both the Old and New Testament of how to RESPOND IN FAITH.  In Romans 4:19-20, we can see that Abraham’s faith was strong when God promised him a son.  He did not waver at the promise of God through unbelief, but was strong in faith, giving glory to God.

In order to see supernatural manifestations in our lives, we must consider the promises of God from His Word more than the problems we’re facing.  If we don’t, we will begin to worry, which stems from focusing on the situation more than God’s Word.

In  Acts 16:25-28, we see Paul and Silas in prison.  They were praying and singing praises to God at midnight and the other prisoners heard them.  Suddenly, an earthquake shook the jail’s foundation.  The prisoners were freed, but no one ran.  The guard prepared to kill himself, but Paul told him not to harm himself.

Paul and Silas were not ashamed to RESPOND IN FAITH, and their response caused a supernatural manifestation.

In the Old Testament, the faithful Shunamite woman was not moved by the situation, but insisted on believing the promise.  In 2 Kings 4:8-22, we see that the Shunamite woman showed kindness to the prophet Elisha, and cared for him.  God granted her a son, who was born according to Elisha’s prophecy.  After the boy had grown up, he died, and the woman called for the man of God.  Then in verse 23, we see that when her husband questioned why she was going to see the prophet Elisha, she RESPONDED IN FAITH and said, “All is well.”  Reading on in verses 24-27, we see that when she came to Elisha, she insisted that all was well, but then confessed that her son was dead.  Elisha returned with the woman, went in to the boy, prayed, and the child was revived.

Hallelujah!  I encourage you to RESPOND IN FAITH to the challenges and circumstances in your life today!  Say what God says, and nothing else.  He will honor that and will watch over His Word to perform it! (Jeremiah 1:12).  Remember, 2 Corinthians 4:18 declares,

  • …While we do not look at the things which are seen, but the things which are not seen.  For the things which are seen are temporal, but the things which are not seen are eternal.

RESPONDING IN FAITH today,
