Merry Christmas Beloved!

Christmas should be the greatest celebration of our lives because it marks the day Jesus was born and salvation was made available to mankind.  The foundation of Christmas is currently under attack and as a Christian, you must not allow the world to steal THE CELEBRATION OF JESUS’ BIRTH.  Each year, Christmas should be celebrated as the greatest day of our lives.  Jesus, the Savior, was born to save people from their sins.  Luke 2:11 says,

  • For unto you is born this day in the city of David a SAVIOR, which is Christ the Lord.

The Angels were praising God when Jesus was born.  Verse 13 says,

  • And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God and saying: “Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, goodwill toward men.!”

It’s so important to acknowledge Jesus Christ at Christmas rather than just saying “Happy Holidays.”

From the time Jesus was born, the devil has tried to destroy Jesus.  First, Jesus was warned by God to take Jesus to Egypt because Herod wanted to kill Him (see Matthew 2:13-15).  Secondly, after people heard Jesus preaching in the synogogue, they were filled with wrath and wanted to kill him (see Luke 4:28-30).

I praise God that because of the anointing on Jesus, no one was able to lay a hand on Him.

The enemy is still trying to destroy Jesus today by attempting to stop the celebration of His birth, but he won’t succeed.

I exhort you not to allow the world to influence you to take “CHRIST” out of CHRISTmas.  Don’t allow Jesus to be replaced by Santa Claus or any other fictitious character.  We as Christians should stand up and let the world know why Christmas is important.  When we say, “MERRY CHRISTMAS”, we are honoring Jesus, the Savior of the world.

Let’s remember:  JESUS IS THE REASON FOR THE SEASON!  Because Jesus was born, all people were given the gift of salvation which included the right to:

  1. Righteousness
  2. Deliverance
  3. Healing
  4. Prosperity
  5. Peace

Through Jesus, God brought you out of bondage to the enemy, established you in His love, and gave you a reason to praise Him.  Psalm 40:1-3 says,

  • I waited patiently for the Lord to help me, and he turned to me and heard my cry.  He lifted me out of the pit of despair, out of the mud and the mire.  He set my feet on solid ground and steadied me as I walked along.  He has given me a new song to sing, a hymn of praise to our God.  Many will see what he has done and be amazed.  They will put their trust in the Lord.

“Father, we thank You for so great a salvation in Jesus Christ.  We are eternally grateful that He saved us, delivered us, healed u,s and prospered us.  We praise You that our days are now filled with hope because of Jesus.  He is our all in all, the song of our morning and the joy of our hearts.  Thank You, Father, for JESUS!  It’s in His most majestic Name I pray, Amen.”

Love in JESUS my Savior,
