Merry Christmas Everyone!
Psalm 33:20-22 says,
- Our soul waits for the LORD; He is our help and our shield. For our heart shall rejoice in Him because we have trusted in His holy Name. Let Your mercy, O LORD, be upon us, just as we hope in You.
When you choose to make this Christmas season a time of prayer and expectation rather than about rushed preparations, your heart will find joy, hope, and peace in Him.
If you’ll take a moment and repeat the above Psalm as a prayer, you will see God’s deliverance toward you this December.
As you set aide this Christmastime as a season of prayer, God will satisfy the longings of your soul…even as you hope in Him.
How do you long to see God work in your life this month? As you wait (expectantly) for God, you will discover His strength and steadfast love for you in new ways.
I exhort you to let these last few weeks leading up to Christmas be a time of anticipation for the LORD’S salvation through CHRIST JESUS.
I also encourage you this Christmas to be a blessing to those around you. Ask the LORD how to make other people’s lives more joyous. Find out what and how God wants you to give to them so He can demonstrate His love to them through you. This is the true meaning of Christmas.
In the midst of all that is going on around you, remember the reason for the season. JESUS is the One Who gave us the gift of eternal life. He is the One Who deserves the glory, honor, and praise for the awesome work He did on our behalf.
Be blessed this Christmas season,
