Happy New Year, prosperous ones!
When I asked the Lord what He would have me say to His people, I was inspired of the Lord to write to you about LIVING IN THE SPIRIT. When we LIVE IN THE SPIRIT, we won’t be defeated by the devil, or deceived by any of the wiles of the devil. There’s no limit as to what we’ll become if we dwell and LIVE IN THE SPIRIT.
IN THE SPIRIT of prayer, we’ll be taken from the earth into the heavenlies.
IN THE SPIRIT, the Word of God seems to open up to us in such a wonderful way, we can hardly contain it.
IN THE SPIRIT, the love of God flows through us toward other people.
IN THE SPIRIT, as we speak, it’s as though the same fire that burned in the hearts of the two men on their way to Emmaus when Jesus walked with them, is also burning in our hearts.
See, when we walk with Jesus IN THE SPIRIT, our hearts will burn, too! Jeremiah 20:9 declares,
- But His Word was in my heart like a burning fire, shut up in my bones; I was weary of holding it back, and I could not.
In John 2:17 it says,
- Then His disciples remembered that it was written, “Zeal for Your house has eaten Me up.”
When we WALK IN THE SPIRIT, our hearts will burn, too. It’s the same power of the Spirit.
Beloved, our hearts should always burn. Our words should always be filled with power.
Ephesians 5:18 says,
- Don’t be drunk with wine, because that will ruin your life. Instead, be filled with the Holy Spirit…”
So, just what does it mean to LIVE IN THE SPIRIT? It means that we have power to loose and power to bind. Matthew 18:19 says,
- And I (Jesus) will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven, and whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.
See, we can’t do this unless we LIVE IN THE SPIRIT. (You can’t bind things with the natural mind).
There was a great purpose to the SPIRIT OF THE LORD being upon Jesus (Luke 4:18-19). And there is also a great purpose to you LIVING IN THE SPIRIT. Let’s not forget that we are members of His body (Ephesians 5:30) and that we are partakers of His divine nature (2 Peter 1:4).
It also means that there will be evidences that we are in Him ~ John 14:12 says,
- Most assuredly, I (Jesus) say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do will he do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father.
But, it is only when we LIVE IN THE SPIRIT that we can do the works Jesus did.
I exhort you to remember this today: WHAT IS IMPOSSIBLE WITH MAN IS POSSIBLE WITH GOD (Matthew 19:26).
Have a blessed day!
