Hello believers!
I want to encourage you today that the way to OVERCOME in this life is to BELIEVE! I believe that the greatest weakness in the world is unbelief and the greatest power is faith that works by love.
1 John 4:18 says,
- There is no fear in love, but perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves torment. But he who fears has not been made perfect in love.
Our world is filled with fear, torment, remorse, and brokenness, but faith and love are sure to OVERCOME!
1 John 5:4-5 says,
- For whatever is born of God OVERCOMES the world. And this is the victory that has OVERCOME the world – OUR FAITH! Who is he who OVERCOMES the world, but he who BELIEVES that Jesus is the Son of God.
God formed this world and all of humanity by faith. As you speak the Word of God, fear is cast out, the Word of God comes into operation, and you will be standing on solid ground. The way we OVERCOME is to BELIEVE that Jesus is the Son of God. What does this mean? It means believing God’s Word; not only believing, but receiving it and acting upon it!
1 John 4:4 says,
- You are of God, little children and have OVERCOME them, because He Who is in you is greater than he who is in the world.
See, when you became born again, you were equipped with the power to be an OVERCOMER. OVERCOMERS must OVERCOME. Well, what do we OVERCOME? All that is in the world ~ depression, lack, sickness, brokenness, discouragement, and the list goes on. YOU ARE AN OVERCOMER BECA– USE YOU BELIEVE in the One Who OVERCAME. You are born of Him ~ bone of His bone and flesh of His flesh.
You are an heir to all the promise of God if you can BELIEVE. How do we receive all the promises of God to us? BY FAITH! Everything in the kingdom of God is done by faith, NOT by sight. So, when you become born of God, you have to change the way you think and the way you’re used to doing things. That’s why Romans 12:2 says,
- And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what God’s will is for you, which is good, pleasing and perfect.
In John 8:31-32, Jesus said to those who believed in Him,
- If you abide in My Word, you are My disciples indeed. And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall set you free.
This is where true freedom is found!
As I was worshipping God in other tongues yesterday, I sensed such a realization that we are eternal beings. I felt so big inside – like there was no end. I never felt such a feeling of freedom in my whole life. It was like I felt the vastness of the universe down on the inside of me! Family, there’s no freedom anywhere else ~ not in things, vacations, or even a person. FREEDOM comes from ONLY ONE PLACE ~ THE SPIRIT OF THE LIVING GOD!
When we are weak (in our own human strength), then we are strong (in His divine strength) [See 2 Corinthians 12:10 AMPC]. So, if you are lacking strength, confess His strength that’s within you and spend time worshipping Him until your hearts fill up with JOY and you will find His supernatural strength filling you to the full, til you overflow (See John 15:11 NLT).
It’s not a temporary fix ~ a jolt, a caffeine rush. No! It’s God supernatural strength ~ a strength without limits and without end. God has unlimited resources ~ He has everything you could ever need or want.
Remember that JESUS IS THE SAME YESTERDAY, TODAY, AND FOREVER! He never changes. What He said in His Word, He’ll do. You can count on it! It’ll come to pass! There is no limit to God’s power. He is rich to all who call upon Him.
Put your claim in for your children, your families, and your friends, so that many sons may be brought to glory (Hebrew 2:10). It’s all on the principle of faith!
God will call upon anyone, even people with no credentials, because God’s kingdom is all about FAITH! HE WHO BELIEVES, OVERCOMES!
1 John 2:15-17 says,
- Do NOT love the world or the things in this world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is NOT in him. For all that is in the world – the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life – is NOT of the Father, but is of the world. And the world is passing away, and the lust of it; but he who does the will of God abides forever.
Family, JESUS IS THE WAY, THE TRUTH, AND THE LIFE. He is the secret to every hard problem in the world.
Remember, if your eye be single, your whole body shall be full of light (Matthew 6:22). When a man or woman is pure, it’s easy to detect the darkness.
So, who is he who OVERCOMES the world? He who BELIEVES Jesus is the Son of God! When we live by faith, we live in a place of confidence, a place of prayer, and a place of knowledge. We will keep His commandments and do the things that are pleasing in His sight. We OVERCOME by BELIEVING!
Believing and overcoming,
