Hello beloved!
Let’s take a look together at three very powerful verses of Scripture. JESUS, our Lord, said in John 14:12-14,
- “I tell you the truth, anyone who believes in Me will do the same works I have done, and even greater works, because I am going to be with the Father. You can ask for anything in My Name, and I will do it, so that the Son can bring glory to the Father. Yes, ask Me for anything in My Name, and I will do it!”
Oh, glory to God! I am so filled with joy just looking at that Scripture. I cherish the words of Jesus so much ~ they are all so lovely. Jesus promised us that not one word shall fail! We may fail, but God never does. Hallelujah!
I want to exhort you to rest upon the Word of God completely. If I can get you to do that, you can say in faith, “It is done.” God’s Word cannot fail, because it’s the living Word of God. Psalm 89:34 says,
- “My covenant I will not break, nor alter the word that has gone out of my lips.”
Just listen to the words of Jesus again from John 14:12. He says, “Anyone who believes in Me will do the same works I have done, and even greater works, because I am going to be with the Father.” Just be encouraged by this: Whenever the power of God is being manifested, satan will be there trying to upset it. Satanic forces will be there, but our God is greater!
Not only do I remind you that greater is He that’s in you (the Holy Spirit) than he that’s in the world (satan), but Jesus said in Luke 10:19,
- “Look, I have given you authority over all the power of the enemy, and you can walk among snakes and scorpions and crush them. Nothing will injure you.”
Also, JESUScommanded us in Matthew 10:8 (HCSB) to,
- “Heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse those with skin diseases, drive out demons. Freely you have received without payment, so give without payment.”
I want to compel you to believe with me to see these greater works that the Lord promised we would see. The purpose in this is so that the Father may be glorified in the Son. This is how we glorify God! Let’s live in such a place where these things are being done so that we may bring glory to God.
Believing God for even greater works,
