Hello precious ones!

Jeremiah 15:16 says,

  • Your Words were found, and I ate them, and Your Word became to me THE JOY AND REJOICING OF MY HEART.

Because we are to walk by FAITH and not by sight, MY JOY is not circumstantial. Happiness is based on circumstances, whereas JOY is a spiritual force.  It comes from the Holy Spirit living in us and is an essential part of living a life of victory.

JOY is what gives us strength.  Nehemiah 8:10 says,

  • THE JOY OF THE LORD IS OUR STRENGTH.

JOY gives you the ability to laugh in the devil’s face when he starts trying to knock you off your faith.  JOY gives you the kind of staying power that will make you an overcomer in life.

I make it a point to REJOICE IN THE LORD ALWAYS, not because of the circumstance, but in spite of it.

Psalm 119:97, 103 says,

  • Oh, how I love Your Word!  It is my meditation all the day…How sweet are Your Words to my taste, sweeter than honey to my mouth!

God’s Word is alive and full of power, according to Hebrews 4:12.  It says,

  • For the Word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

Some may think, “You mean, like, the Bible?”  Exactly!  He and His Word are one (John 1:1).

John 6:63 says,

  • The Spirit alone gives eternal life.  Human effort accomplishes nothing.  And the very WORDS I have spoken to you are SPIRIT AND LIFE.

Things of the Spirit are more real than things on this earth.  As a matter of fact, Hebrews 11:3 says,

  • By faith we understand that the worlds were fashioned by the WORD OF GOD, and these things that are seen came into being out of those things which are unseen.

The Father is a Spirit and according to Genesis 2:7,

  • The Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living being.

The literal Hebrew says, “Man became a speaking spirit, just like God.”

We are so much more than we know.  Psalm 8:4-5 says,

  • What is man that You are mindful of him, and the son of man that You visit him?  For You have made him a little lower than God…

Wow, family, did you hear that?  We have been made a little lower than GOD!!!

Did you know that Psalm 139:17-18 says,

  • How precious also are Your thoughts to me, O God!  How great is the sum of them?  If I should count them, they would be more in number than the sand?…

You are on God’s mind every moment of every day!

I pray that God is on our minds, every moment of every day, too!

The way you do this is by meditating on God’s Word, day and night, like we are instructed to do from Joshua 1:8,

  • This book of the law (God’s Word – His precepts, instructions and teachings) shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it.  For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success.

God’s Word is life to me!

Rejoicing in His Word,
