Good morning dear ones!

I wanted to share with you some amazing news from 2 Corinthians 5:18.  It says,

  • And it is all of God, Who has returned us to favor (reconciled) with Himself through Jesus the Anointed, and has given us THE MINISTRY OF RECONCILIATION.

Being reconciled means that we have been returned to favor through Jesus!  Verse 19 goes on to say,

  • And this is what we minister, that God was in the Anointed, reconciling the world to Himself, not reckoning (accounting) to them their offenses (sins), and placing in us the WORD OF RECONCILIATION.

Let’s also read verses 20-21,

  • Now then for the sake of the Anointed, we are ambassadors so that you will be reconciled.  For the One Who knew not sin (JESUS), He (The Father) made to be sin for us that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.

Picture this:  It’s like Jesus sucked up all of our sin like a vacuum cleaner into Himself. This makes us clean.  Our sin is gone.  God does not see us as sinful anymore.  He punished Jesus who stood in proxy for us!  Jesus did it.  The Father accepted Jesus’ sacrifice on behalf of us.  We are free as long as we come under what Jesus did for us.  See, legally, we are a new creation – this is what verse 17 says:

  • This is because if anyone is in the Anointed, he is a new creation – the old that has been from the beginning has passed away, and see, all has become new.

Because of this, you are a NEW CREATION ~ Jesus started the whole thing off with Him being the NEW ADAM. See, Adam was never cleansed from his sin.  In Jesus, a brand new creation was started – the new creation is clean, sinless. As a new creation, even if you have sinned, you have not sinned like an old creation. You are forgiven!  You are a new creation. It is important that you adopt a new mindset. According to 1 John 1:9,

  • If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

See, you do not have to think like an old man anymore.  That is old covenant talk. The blood of Jesus will cleanse you!

Remember, Jesus was made to be sin for us.  This is the foundation of Christianity.

Jesus has given you THE MINISTRY OF RECONCILIATION because you are in Christ.  Your ministry is to reconcile the world back to the Father.

Do you want to hear the Father’s heart?  We can find it in 2 Corinthians 6:16-18:

  • God has said, “I will make My home in them and walk among them.  I will be their God and they shall be My people…I will be a Father to you and you shall be My sons and daughters,” says the LORD ALMIGHTY.

Whew family!  I am in tears over that!  Look at what the Father desires!  Let’s do what He asks us to do in verse 17,

  • “Come out from among them and be separate”, says the LORD.  Do not touch what is unclean, and I will receive you.

I encourage you to make sure you are IN CHRIST.  Look to Jesus!  Come under the new creation.  The old creation is condemned (John 3:18). Jesus is working with us and in us.
