Good morning faith-filled ones!
Hebrews 11:1 says,
• Faith is the confidence that what we hope for will actually happen; it gives us assurance about things we cannot see.
The Scripture declares in Psalm 125:1 that if we KEEP HIS WORD, we shall be as mount Zion which cannot be moved, but abides forever.
I exhort you to KEEP HIS WORD at all costs. Let us be just like Noah, who was a preacher of righteousness, and never wavered or lost the reality of God. There was not any water near them, yet because God SAID he would send a flood, that was sufficient for Noah.
When we have real faith in God, we will have perfect peace and joy. We will always see the victory.
Jesus said in John 16:33,
• See I have told you these things, so that in Me you may have [perfect] peace and confidence. In the world you will have tribulation and trials and distress and frustration; but be of good cheer [take courage; be confident, certain, undaunted]! For I have overcome the world. [I have deprived it of power to harm you and have conquered it for you.
See, when our minds are stayed on Jesus, we will experience peace right in the midst of the storm. Isaiah 26:3 tells us this. It says,
• You will guard him and keep him in perfect and constant peace whose mind is stayed on You, because he commits himself to You, leans on You, and hopes confidently in You.
Remember that perfect love casts out fear (1 John 4:18). You can walk in perfect love and perfect peace when you keep your mind on Him. Keeping your mind on Him means keeping your mind on on His Word. That is why Romans 12:2 says,
• …Be transformed by the entire renewal of your minds…
Also, Proverbs 4:20-22 says,
• My son, attend to My Words; consent and submit to My sayings. Let them not depart from your sight; keep them in the center of your heart. For they are life to those who find them, healing and health (medicine) to all their flesh.
All we have to do is change our old ways of thinking and start to think like God wants us to think. He is doing this, not so that we are like robots, but because there is absolute life in His Word and no darkness at all. Plus, we are His children and are to be imitators of Him as dear children. That means to think like He thinks and act like He acts. This will only come one way and that is by KEEPING HIS WORD.
Remember, the Word of the Lord endures forever. It is forever settled in heaven (see Psalm 119:89). God has actually magnified His Word above His Own Name (see Psalm 138:2). God will never alter the Word that has gone out of His mouth (see Psalm 89:34). The Scripture declares in Matthew 24:35,
• Heaven and earth will pass away, but My Words will never pass away.
Let us stay in constant communion with the Lord through prayer, fellowship, the Word, and worship. This is what I do everyday.
Keeping His Word,
