Good morning strong ones!
Proverbs 18:14 (AMP) says,
• The STRONG SPIRIT of a man sustains him in bodily pain or trouble, but a weak and broken spirit, who can raise up or bear?
See, A STRONG SPIRIT makes a way for God to move. But, if you are talking doubt and unbelief, it shuts the door to God’s supernatural power. Having A STRONG SPIRIT keeps the door open for God to move in your life. I want that ~ how about you?
A STRONG SPIRIT will cause us to overcome physical attacks, financial problems, relational difficulties, ministerial setbacks, emotional challenges, and everything else the devil throws our way. Having A STRONG SPIRIT allows us to build a barrier, like a force field ~ a wall of protection around us so when the storms of life hit, we can stand like a rock – unshaken and immoveable. 1 Corinthians 15:58 (NKJV) says,
• Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not in vain in the Lord.
Our spirits can become so rooted, grounded, and established in the Word of God that we can actually repel disease, stop worrying, resist sin, override doubt, dissolve offense, and block pressure.
We can actually build up our spiritual immune system to such a degree that sickness cannot penetrate it; discouragement cannot sway it; fear cannot stop it; bad news cannot move it; and adversity cannot affect it.
So, how do we know if we have A STRONG SPIRIT? By what we are saying. Randy and I are learning not to ever give place to the devil by what we are saying. We can affect our words by continually putting the Word of God in our hearts. Luke 6:45 says,
• Out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks.
Without proper care, our spiritual immune system will weaken, opening the door to the effects of the curse (See Deuteronomy 28:15-61).
Our spirits must be fed, strengthened, trained, developed, and exercised in the same way our minds and bodies are. We can become so spiritually strong that our faith can move mountains and will produce great results, unhindered by any force.
So, I exhort you to develop A STRONG SPIRIT by keeping the Word of God going into your ears and your eyes and then letting it come out of your mouth.
Developing A STRONG SPIRIT,
