Hello prayer warriors!
I would like to encourage you this morning about PRAYER, in a very specific sense. Let’s look at Daniel 10:12-13,
- 12 Then he (the Angel) said to me, “Do not fear, Daniel, for from the FIRST day that you set your heart to understand, and to humble yourself before your God, YOUR WORDS WERE HEARD; and I have come because of your words. 13 But the prince of the kingdom of Persia withstood me twenty-one days; and behold, Michael, one of the chief princes, came to help me, for I had been left alone there with the kings of Persia.
Just to give you a little background, Daniel was fasting and praying for 3 full weeks, totaling 21 days, but what I want you to see is that even though the answer came on the 21st day, the angel said to Daniel, “FROM THE FIRST DAY, YOUR WORDS WERE HEARD.”
When we pray to the Father, in Jesus’ Name, it’s imperative that we understand that the Lord hears us and always answers us!
1 John 5:14-15 says,
- Now this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. And if we know that He hears us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we have asked of Him.
Our words (prayers) stir up heaven and hell, so don’t become discouraged if you feel some resistance when you pray.
Our words create something in the unseen realm. If you pray for any length of time, you will probably sense some conflict.
Sometimes the reason the answer hasn’t manifested yet is because you are being resisted in the spirit realm.
Just like Daniel in the above passage, verse 13 says that “the prince of the kingdom of Persia WITHSTOOD Gabriel 21 days and behold, Michael, one of the chief princes came to help me.”
So, BE CONFIDENT when you pray today because Isaiah 65:24 says,
- It shall come to pass that before you call, I will answer; and while you are still speaking, I will hear.
Psalm 17:6 states,
- I have called upon You, for You will hear me, O God…
BE CONFIDENT IN PRAYER! Your words are heard from the FIRST day you prayed!
Love to you today,
