Good morning sons and daughters of Almighty God!
Ezekiel 18:29-32 says,
- Yet, the house of Israel says, “The way of the Lord is not fair…is it not MY WAYS which are fair, and YOUR WAYS which are not fair? Therefore, I will judge you…everyone according to his ways,” says the LORD GOD. “REPENT and turn from all your transgressions, so that iniquity will not be your ruin. Cast away from you all the transgressions which you have committed and get yourselves a new heart and a new spirit. For why should you die? For I have no pleasure in the death of one who dies,” says the LORD GOD. “Therefore, turn (repent, change your mind, go the other way) and live.”
I believe in these last of the last days, we, as the body of Christ should be focusing on the word, “REPENT” for ourselves and then declaring to the world, “REPENT“.
People are demanding perverse and abominable things and are turning from the LORD, just like they did in the Bible, and as a result, judgment.
1 Peter 4:17 says,
- For the time has come for judgment to begin at the house of God, and if it begins with us first, what will be the end of those who do not obey the gospel of God? Now, if the righteous one is scarcely saved, where will the ungodly and the sinner appear?
So, what are we to do? Well, Isaiah 55:6-8 tells us:
- Seek the Lord while He may be found, call upon Him while He is near. Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteousness man his thoughts; let him re–turn to the LORD, and He will have mercy on him; and our God will abundantly pardon. For MY THOUGHTS are not your thoughts, nor are your ways MY WAYS, says the LORD.
Let’s take heed according to the Word of God and:
- Seek the LORD
- Call upon Him
- Forsake OUR WAYS
- Forsake OUR THOUGHTS
- Return to the Lord
Some more instructions for us are from 2 Chronicles 7:14,
- “If My people, who are called by My Name will humble themselves, pray and seek My face and TURN from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and heal their land.”
Family, I EXHORT you to take heed to the Word of God where prayer and repentance is concerned. That’s why God tells us in 1 Timothy 2:1-4,
- “Therefore I EXHORT, FIRST OF ALL, that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for ALL men, for kings and ALL who are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence. For it is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, Who desires ALL men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth.
