Good morning beloved!
Kindly take a look with me at Romans 8:1-2. It says,
- There is therefore now NO CONDEMNATION to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. For the law of the Spirit of Life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.
“NO CONDEMNATION”! If you are in a place of NO CONDEMNATION, you’re in an amazing place ~ a place where you’re not walking after the flesh, but after the Spirit. You’re in a place where you don’t have any fellowship with the world. 1 John 2:15-17 says,
- Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world – the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life – is not of the Father, but is of the world. And the world is passing away, and the lust of it; but he who does the will of God abides forever.
If you love the world, you can’t love God and the love of God can’t be in you. If you are in Christ Jesus, you are of a brand new order ~ you’re in Him and therefore, you will walk in the Spirit and are free from CONDEMNATION.
Galatians 5:16-17 says,
- I say then: Walk in the Spirit, and you shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh. For the flesh lusts against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; and these are contrary to one another, so that you do not do the things that you wish.
See, we’re told to be sanctified ~ separated from the world. Yes, we’re in the world, but we’re not of it. We’ve renewed our minds to the Word of God and are not being conformed to this world, but instead are being transformed. That word in the Greek is “metamorphosis”. We are being changed into the image of God. We are to be imitators of God as dear children.
Jesus tells us in Matthew 5:13-14 that we are the salt of the earth and the light of the world. We are to be a city set on a hill that cannot be hidden.
The law of the Spirit of life reveals to the world that we are of God. This law makes us free from the law of sin and death. This means that sin no longer has any dominion over you. You will have no desire to sin and it’ll be as true in you as it was in Jesus when He said, “Satan comes but finds nothing in Me.” Satan no longer has any power over you. Romans 8:10 says,
- …the body is dead because of sin; the Spirit is life because of righteousness.
When you are filled with God, you are free! You are filled with joy, peace, blessing, power from on high, strength and transformation by His mighty power.
Notice that there are 2 law operating on the earth today according to Romans 8:1-2 – The law of the Spirit of life and the law of sin and death. If you are in Christ Jesus (born again) and not walking after the flesh but after the spirit, you are free from the law of sin and death.
See, there’s a place where we can live in the Spirit and not be subject to the flesh. I admonish you to walk in the Spirit until sin has no more dominion over you; until you reign in this life through Christ Jesus.
Reigning in life means reigning over sickness, disease, satanic power, and lack.
Family, God created you in His image and likeness. He bought you back from all forms of death with His precious blood. Everything that was lost in the garden of Eden has now been restored though His precious redemption. What could be any greater than the fellowship that Adam and Eve had with God in the garden? When God walked and talked and had fellowship with them?
So, not only are our spirits born again out of death into life, but our bodies have been redeemed from the curse of the law. We have been set free! Free from the law of sin and death! Jesus accomplished it! Hallelujah! Romans 8:3-4 says,
- For what the law could not do in that it was weak through the flesh, God did by sending His Own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, on account of sin: He CONDEMNED sin in the flesh, that the righteous requirement of the law might be fulfilled in us who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit.
See, when we set our minds on the things of the flesh, we’ll live according to the flesh, which produces death. But those who set their minds of the things of the Spirit, will walk according to the Spirit, which produces life.
Romans 8:6 says,
- For to be carnally minded is death, but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.
What is that worth, family? I know you want to please God, but verse 8 says that those who are in the flesh cannot please God. So, I exhort you to not walk in the flesh, but in the Spirit. Keep your thoughts on God’s Word. Pray in the Spirit without ceasing.
If you are led by the Spirit of God, you are the sons and daughters of God. The Holy Spirit Himself will bear witness with our spirits that we are the children of God.
The living Word of God is your sufficiency. Read it through, write it down, pray it out ~ eat it; devour it. It is your spiritual food. We’re told in Deuteronomy 8:3 that man shall not live by bread alone; but man lives by every word that proceeds from the mouth of the Lord.
Family, we have an abundant God, Who is able to do exceeding and abundantly above all that we dare ask or think! The cross covered everything and the resurrection brought everything to life! Romans 8:11 says,
- But if the Spirit of Him Who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He Who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit Who dwells in you.
When your bodies are touched by our Almighty God, you will never be the same again.
Walking in the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus,
