Hello dear ones!
Matthew 6:33 (NLT) says,
- SEEK THE KINGDOM OF GOD above all else, and live righteously, and He will give you everything you need.
Did you notice it said, “HE will give you everything you need!” It didn’t say, “YOU will have to provide for yourself.”
Many people seek money as a means to an end, but the Biblical view of money is the exact opposite of what we are taught in the world. The Scriptures teach us that we should keep our eyes on God, and not on money. In this way, we realize that He is the sole source of our supply. It may be a challenge training our minds to think this way, but through practice, we can learn how. God knows we need money, and He promises to bless us with all that we need. But we must keep our priorities in order, and seek Him first. When we do, the blessings will follow.
I exhort you to focus on God as the single source of everything you do. We can’t focus on Him when we think we are responsible for our blessings in life.
When God created Adam and Eve, He gave them everything they could ever want for life. God planted the garden of Eden, and put the man there. He caused tree for good to grow, along with the Tree of The Knowledge of Good and Evil. He put Adam in the garden to dress it, and then made Eve from Adam’s rib.
The garden was Adam’s home. He had an assignment and a responsibility to care for it and guard it against intruders. The Tree of The Knowledge of Good and Evil eventually got Adam and Eve in trouble. When the intruder came into the garden in the form of a serpent, he created confusion and got them to question God’s goodness.
Eve allowed herself to be emotionally-ruled when she saw the tree. We must be sure we do not allow our emotions to take us down a path that leads to destruction. When we are led by our physical senses, we are operating merely from a human standpoint. This is why we must regularly read and study the Word, which will give us understanding about God’s original intent for us. When we understand our original purpose, we won’t be deceived into seeing ourselves the wrong way.
I encourage your to SEEK FIRST THE KINGDOM OF GOD and everything you need will be given to you by God.
Seeking God continually,
