Hello victorious ones!
One area of our lives in which Satan can frustrate us the most is in our FINANCES! Many people struggle to make ends meet, while other live from paycheck to paycheck. Increasing financial pressure causes stress and other health problems, however, we no longer have to be subject to financial bondage, according to the Word of God. We can proclaim our freedom from the curse of poverty and begin to operate in the blessing of God today.
The curse of the law, according to Deuteronomy 28:15-68 is 3-fold: Poverty, sickness, and spiritual death. The good news is that Jesus became a curse FOR US, so we are redeemed from poverty, sickness and spiritual death. Galatians 3:13 declares,
- Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us (for it is written, “Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree”)…
In today’s daily word of encouragement, we will be dealing with our finances. When Jesus was crucified, His hands were nailed to the cross. The blood that flowed from His hands signified our freedom from the curse of poverty. Deuteronomy 28:8, 12 and 12:7 declares that God blesses the work of our hands.
The fall of man affected the economy of mankind. Genesis 3:17, 19 tells us that disobedience produces poverty. Poverty is designed to destroy, and therefore is a product of Satan. John 10:10 (AMP) says,
- The thief comes only in order to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have and enjoy life, and have it in abundance (to the full, till it overflows).
Jesus came to give us abundant life. He became a curse for us so that we may live a blessed life. 2 Corinthians 8:9 says,
- For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though He was rich, yet for your sakes He became poor, that you through His poverty might become rich.
So, how can we live the abundant life Jesus died to give us? We can start with our words. We must begin to call ourselves blessed instead of cursed. The Word of God is the truth, so as we line our words up with God’s word, we will be blessed. Speaking negatively, which opposes the Word of God, can curse our lives. We must replace our complaints about lack with faith-filled words from God’s Word. Begin doing this today, and you will see your financial situation begin to change.
