Good morning, anointed ones!
You may be asking, “What is THE ANOINTING OF GOD? The anointing of God is a divine enabler. It’s God supernatural ability has added to our natural ability, giving us supernatural ability to succeed in any challenge we face. There is an empowerment available to us that will help us win every battle we face.
We’re exhorted in 1 Timothy 6:12 to,
- Fight the good fight of faith…
As believers, we will fight many battles, but we will always win. Our battles are real, but our victories are more real. We need the guidance of the Holy Spirit because there will be fights we will not be able to win without Him.
2 Corinthians 2:14 says,
- “Now thanks be unto God, Who always causeth us to triumph in Christ, and maketh manifest the savour of his knowledge by us in every place.”
Thanksgiving can be used as a weapon; it expands our capacity to receive.
Family, our victory is only guaranteed in Christ. Isaiah 10:27 says that our burdens are removed and our yokes are destroyed (annihilated) because of the anointing.
THE ANOINTING OF GOD will cost us so we must pay the price through prayer and praise. I encourage you to spend time with God and receive revelation from Him.
As we face battles in our lives, we must understand we can do the impossible with the help of the Holy Spirit. However, we must deal with those things that grieve the Holy Spirit.
Family, heaven is calling on us to go to a higher level of holiness. Holiness is being of one mind with God.
Psalm 24:8 says,
- The Lord God is our might in battle.
Wisdom is knowing what to do when you don’t know what to do.
Isaiah 11:2 says,
- The spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge, and the fear of the Lord reside in us.
People were so impressed by Jesus’ wisdom and His mighty works that they wondered about the source of His power (see Matthew 13:53-54).
In conclusion, I want to give you your twelve-step battle plan to victory:
- Believe what the Word of God says ~ Believe God authored it and breathed on it.
- Read, study and meditate on the Word. Become acquainted with God’s Word.
- Renew your mind with the Word. Exchange your thoughts for His thoughts found in His Word.
- Honor the Word by making it the final authority in your life. Trouble should not weigh in heavier than the Word.
- Set your mind on victory.
- Obey the Word. In doing so, you stay connected to God.
- Understand your covenant (the Abrahamic covenant). It is an everlasting covenant.
- Use your mouth as a weapon to launch covenant talk. Speak the Word.
- Labor to enter into rest. Have confidence in God’s love for you. Refuse to worry. Have peace. Keep your mind on the Word.
- Walk by faith, which works by love. Refuse to be selfish and fearful.
- Pray. Every failure in life is a prayer failure. Pray and commune with God. Stir up the spirit of might.
- Don’t quit. Be consistent and remain patient.
Remember this: In Christ Jesus, you are an overcomer!
