Good morning family!
Philippians 1:6 (AMP) says,
- I am convinced and sure of this very thing, that He Who began a good work in you will continue until the day of Jesus Christ [right up to the time of His return], developing [that good work] and perfecting and bringing it to full completion in you.
There’s a work going on inside each of us, which God has begun. Because God started this work, we can have confidence the end result will manifest. God desires to do great things for us all the days of our lives. Job 5:9 (MSG) says,
- Afterall, God is famous for great and unexpected acts and there’s no end to His surprises.
God wants to see His plan fulfilled in each of us. However, we must believe He will complete the work He started. I encourage you to look to God for direction in every area of your life. Hebrews 12:2 says,
- …looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith…
See, distractions will cause us to lose focus. We’re distracted when we begin to focus on our problems, circumstances, emotions, insecurities, weaknesses, and ourselves. However, we must choose to focus on Him. As we focus on God’s Word, we begin to see ourselves in His Word and our insecurities and weaknesses will fade.
Remember that we can’t take credit for what God has done for us. IT’S GOD WHO WORKS IN US to will and to do His good pleasure. He energizes us to do His work. Allow God’s will to be your will and desire.
Many of us start things and don’t finish them, but God is faithful; He always finishes what He starts. God’s work is a guaranteed success. We don’t have to remain the same. We can expect to continue to go from level to level and see God’s glory in our lives. He works behind the scenes on our behalf, completing His work in us.
Thanking God for His faithfulness,
